O'Fallon Kiwanis Club members staff the O'Fallon Salvation Army Food Pantry once a month in the evening to give people in the community a chance to get their food. Those who work have the opportunity to come shop once a month. Our members help Michelle Smith set up the pantry to be ready for shoppers from 5:30-7:30 the 2nd Wednesday each month. Fort Zumwalt North Middle School Builders Club helps out by decorating the Food Pantry each month (Snowflakes, Valentine's Day, etc.). The Fort Zumwalt North High School Key Club has had food, book and clothing drives to donate to the Salvation Army too.
Our Kiwanis club is working to participate in a variety of projects throughout the year to make our community a better place to live. One way we give back is by dedicating one day to give to those who need help through the Salvation Army.

RAISING MONEY TO REPLACE THE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
Club members hosted a Trivia Night in July 2017 to start raising money towards replacing the playground equipment at the O'Fallon Salvation Army. The playground was installed around 2002 and needs replacement. This is an on-going project.
